The "Reflectunes by j (rtunes)" headphone design takes inspiration from vertical sound domes. We miniaturize them and place them horizontally as headphones for ultra comfortable private listening. We're offering a 4th new category of personal audio tech that compliments Earpad headphones, Earbuds & Bone conduction audio technology.
DESIGN TRADE OFFS: Every design has its tradeoff.
Earpad headphones provide bass and noise cancellation but can be hot, compressive and sweaty with prolong use.
Earbuds are portable & can have noise cancellation but having something in your ear for a prolong amount of time also feels uncomfortable.
Bone conduction audio allows you to receive private audio without earpads/earbuds while letting you hear your environment. It provides bass but gives a weird vibrating sensation and the sound quality isn't as good compared to earpads/earbuds as reported by many.
Our "Reflectunes by j" mini Sound dome design focus private audio to the ears to provide ultra comfort and allows you to hear your environment but because the speakers are not on/in the ears it won't deliver as much BASS as traditional earpad/earbud headphones. However, It will deliver good sound quality and a level of Bass.
